Directional Drillers / Locators / Laborers / Hydrovac Drivers

We are seeking Directional Drillers with Vermeer experience preferred. We are also seeking Underground Construction Locators & Laborers to support the drill crew. Drillers will be responsible for safely operating a Vermeer drill (Benke BB-20 / Benke BB 40). Safety is a top priority at Groundhogs & the drill operators must adopt this precedence. Our 20+ years experience have led us to become highly sought after. Experienced Drill Operators will be responsible for operating the drill, driving and operating crew trucks, communicating w/clients, and performing the work along with other crew members. Locators & Laborers will be responsible for supporting the drill crew and their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Drillers - Safely operate a Directional Drill (Vermeer Experience a Plus)
- Hydrovac Drivers - Safely drive/operate/maintain Hydrovac (Experience a Plus)
- Properly track and document activity log
- Inspect equipment before and after trip
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in drilling/underground construction or other related fields preferred
- Commercial driver's license a plus (a must for Hydrovac drivers)
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
