Growing project-based professional services organization seeking a Project Accountant with strong industry experience.
IMPORTANT: Candidates without Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering or similar project-driven professional services experience will not be considered.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5 years of Project Accounting experience
- Must have Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or similar project-based services industry experience
- Extensive experience with:
- Project billing
- Revenue recognition
- Change orders
- Project financial reviews
- Project profitability analysis
- Strong partnership experience with Project Managers
- Ability to build credibility and relationships with operations teams
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and ownership mentality
Preferred
- Architectural or Engineering firm background
- Acumatica experience
- Deltek experience
- WIP reporting experience
- Construction project accounting experience

Compensation: $75K - $95K bonus
