Purchasing Agent

Local company in Cartersville is looking for a purchasing agent with experience buying materials such as maintenance/eletrical pieces for a manufacturing company. Must have experience in SAP and hands on experience with SAP. This position is in office everyday. The position is temp to perm and starts at $20/hour. Please submit resumes to [email protected].

Responsibilities

Follow purchasing and inventory control procedures and sequence of operations within department to optimize work flow. • Review market, price, delivery conditions and trends to determine present and future material sourcing. • Build and maintain supplier relationships to obtain optimal delivery, quality and price. • Negotiate as needed to obtain optimal delivery, quality and price. • Assist with compliance procedures in C-TPAT program. • Assist in other duties and projects as assigned.
