Overview
Registered Nurse, NICU travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. Start date: 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Weekly pay: $1,665-$1,741 per week. No guaranteed hours. You’ll be working in a hospital-based Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, delivering specialized care to very high-acuity neonates and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support families and optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based care to critically ill neonates, including patients down to 22 weeks gestation and greater
- Monitor respiratory status and manage advanced NICU therapies (ventilation from conventional to high-frequency modes, total body cooling as ordered, inhaled nitric oxide)
- Administer medications and continuous IV drips (vasopressors, sedatives) and perform central line maintenance
- Conduct neonatal resuscitation when required; interpret monitors and respond to changing clinical conditions
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physicians, and support staff; document care plans and update the care team
- Maintain strict infection control practices and ensure safe, developmentally appropriate care while supporting families

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (Georgia) or multi-state license eligible
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience in a high-acuity neonatal setting
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required
- Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in a NICU environment
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
