Spray Technician

As a Spray Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and appearance of client landscapes by performing weed control and fertilization procedures, ensuring safety, and upholding Yardnique’s high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform weed control and fertilization procedures, prioritizing inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Operate vehicles and equipment such as trucks, sprayers, and spreaders for the application of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers.
- Utilize hand-held manual sprayers for targeted applications.
- Apply chemicals and fertilizers in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities, equipment, and inventory.
- Keep accurate records of all chemical and biological agents used.
- Prepare and mix chemical agents as needed for various applications.
- Ensure safe and appropriate use, mixing, and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Obtain written quotes for procurement of parts, materials, and equipment as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures during work activities.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions and assist with emergency mitigation efforts as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Pesticide license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a spray technician
Work Environment
- Work involves physical activity in outdoor environments, including exposure to dirt, water, chemicals, and varying weather conditions.
