We are urgently hiring experienced Seasonal Tax Support Agents to support customers during the peak US tax season. This is a fully remote, work-from-home opportunity for candidates physically located within the United States.
This is an excellent fit for candidates with previous experience supporting consumer tax software such as TurboTax or assisting customers during the tax filing process.
The Prescreen Questionnaire Is Mandatory

Contract Length
This is a short-term seasonal project expected to last approximately 6 to 8 weeks , depending on business needs, successful completion of training, attendance, and performance.
Pay, Training, and Terms
- Pay rate: $13 per hour
- Payments are issued weekly on Fridays
- Training is mandatory before you can begin working in production
- Training is paid only after successful completion of the training and passing the required background check
- Contracts are issued and managed through Skuad/Payoneer WFM

What You Will Be Doing
You will provide inbound support to customers using a major US consumer tax software platform.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting customers through inbound phone and chat
- Guiding customers through tax software navigation and product usage
- Helping customers understand where to click, how to move through the software, and how to complete the next steps
- Assisting customers in locating prior-year tax returns, amendments, and account information
- Troubleshooting common “how-to” questions and basic technical issues using scripts, workflows, and knowledge base articles
- Identifying the correct issue and selecting the right support workflow or solution
- Maintaining accurate notes, tags, and documentation for every interaction
- Escalating issues outside Tier 1 support scope to senior support or tax expert teams
- Delivering empathetic, professional customer service while handling sensitive customer information securely
REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience
To qualify, you must have previous experience supporting consumer software products and handling sensitive customer data in compliance with applicable security standards.
This includes:
- Supporting customers with products such as Intuit TurboTax or similar tax software or related consumer software products
- Guiding customers through tax return workflows and software navigation
- Assisting customers by phone and chat
- Helping customers find previous returns, amendments, and account details
- Troubleshooting basic technical or product questions
- Escalating more complex tax or technical issues appropriately
- Working with sensitive financial or personal information in a secure environment
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be physically located within the United States
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Hold a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Speak fluent or native-level English
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be comfortable working evenings, weekends, and varying shifts if required
- Be able to work in a structured, performance-driven remote environment
- Be willing and able to complete the required background screening
Mandatory Technical Requirements
To work on this project, you must have a compliant home office setup.
You must have:
- Windows-based desktop or laptop only
- Apple or macOS devices are not permitted
- Intel Core i5 processor minimum, 7th Generation or newer recommended
- 8 GB to 12 GB RAM
- Wired internet connection required
- Wi‑Fi-only setups are not permitted
- USB noise-canceling headset or a working headset with a mic
- Updated antivirus or endpoint protection software
- Ability to use secure browser and/or VPN configurations
- Reliable internet and power suitable for uninterrupted work
