Maintenance Technician (8-hr Shifts)

Pay range is $32.24-$36/hr, dependent on performance on interview assesments.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, requiring technicians to document their work accurately and serve as subject matter experts and trainers for their peers. The position operates on a night shift schedule and involves hands-on work with various tools and machinery.

Responsibilities
• Follow safety procedures, checklists, and protocols while working.,
• Provide on-shift production support and maintain clean work areas.,
• Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.,
• Perform corrective repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine service.,
• Utilize hand, machining, fabrication, and power tools for maintenance tasks.,
• Fabricate new and replacement parts according to specifications and blueprints.,
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and complete special projects as assigned.,
• Document work appropriately and perform data entry into relevant systems.,
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the maintenance shop and equipment.,
• Keep supervisors and teammates informed of maintenance concerns and problems

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 10 hours at one time
• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
