Class A Truck Driver Trainee OK
10-4 Logistics USA is seeking entry-level CDL-A drivers for regional dry van routes. This opportunity is suitable for recent Class A truck driver graduates seeking predictable regional schedules, 100% no-touch freight, and professional representation of the company.
Estimated annual compensation: $70,000 to $80,000
Schedule and equipment
- Regional schedule with typically two days home every other week.
- Late-model Freightliner tractors with automatic transmissions.
- 100% no-touch dry van freight .
Primary responsibilities
- Safe operation: Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Timely transport: Deliver dry van freight on assigned regional routes according to schedule and customer requirements.
- Vehicle inspections: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection records, and required maintenance documentation.
- Communication: Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch and customers as required.
- Freight handling: Ensure proper load securement and follow handling procedures for dry van freight.
- Incident reporting: Report accidents, delays, safety concerns, or compliance issues immediately and cooperate with investigations.
Minimum qualifications
- Valid CDL-A (Class A) license .
- Completion of at least 120 hours of truck driving school within the past 12 months.
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements and pass required drug and background screenings.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for safe operation and clear communication.
