Technical Workday Enterprise Architect
Contract-to-hire
Sandy Springs, GA (4 days per week onsite)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Workday Enterprise Architect with deep domain expertise and strong communication skills to partner directly with business stakeholders. This individual will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable Workday solutions across our enterprise, with a focus on seamless integrations using MuleSoft and other integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the technical lead for Workday architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and business processes.
Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Design, implement, and optimize Workday integrations, leveraging MuleSoft and other integration platforms.
Provide guidance on best practices for Workday configuration, extensions, and integrations.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, IT, and Security, to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of Workday solutions.
Maintain documentation of enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and data flows.
Stay current with Workday updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to other architects, developers, and functional consultants.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Workday Technical Architect or similar enterprise architecture role.
Strong domain knowledge in Workday HCM, Finance, Payroll, or relevant modules.
Hands-on experience with MuleSoft and other integration technologies (REST, SOAP, APIs).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to engage effectively with both technical and business audiences.
Experience in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
Ability to lead workshops, design sessions, and solution reviews with business and IT teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.

Preferred:
Workday certification(s) (HCM, Integration, or related).
Experience with cloud architectures and enterprise integration frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
