About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with GSK SOLUTIONS INC to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30301!
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre-Operative is responsible for preparing patients for surgical procedures by conducting assessments, ensuring readiness, and coordinating care prior to surgery. This role requires strong clinical skills, especially in neuro and thoracic cases, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume surgical environment.

Requirements
Specialty Requirements:
- Mandatory experience in:
- Neurological (Neuro) cases
- Thoracic surgical procedures
- Ability to manage high-acuity pre-op patients
Required Experience and Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (GA or Compact)
- Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op or perioperative experience
- Required certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA
- NIHSS (Stroke Scale Certification)
