Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as a registered nurse in acute care, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed staff
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, implement care plans, and monitor patient progress; respond promptly to changes in condition
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, document care accurately, and ensure patient safety and quality of care
- Serve as charge nurse as assigned, supervise and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed team members, and support unit workflow
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff; participate in rounds; contribute to evidence-based practice and quality improvement efforts
- Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and advocate for the patient’s preferences and needs within clinic and hospital policies

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Graduation from an approved nursing program (RN)
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in an inpatient acute care setting
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred
- Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills; commitment to professional nursing ethics and standards
