Overview
Occupational Therapist needed for a travel assignment in Cumming, Georgia, starting 05/11/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts across four days. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for outpatient clients.
- Implement OT interventions to improve activities of daily living, hand function, motor skills, and adaptive strategies for independence.
- Provide lymphedema management within the outpatient therapy program as indicated.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (including physical therapy and speech-language pathology) to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, activity modification, and safety strategies to support ongoing progress.
- Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record; adjust plans based on patient response and goals.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience in an outpatient rehab setting
- AHA BLS certification required
- Lymphedema certification required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, outpatient multidisciplinary environment
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week travel assignment
- Authorized to work in the United States
