JOB TITLE: Aircraft Interior Installation Technician II

LOCATION: Savannah, GA

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Safely remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors (galleys, closets, lavatories, panels, etc.), ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and quality standards.

• Use material tracking systems to manage parts, track squawks, and sign off on work.

• Operate and maintain hand tools and equipment (e.g., band saws, shears, sanders).

• Install and remove aircraft interior items, fasteners, and hardware according to standards.

• Adhere to safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, and use PPE as required.

• Assist with maintenance tasks under supervision.

• Adapt to schedule changes as needed.

• Collaborate on process improvements using Lean Six Sigma to reduce costs, cycle time, and man-hours.

• Create simple patterns for use in standard procedures.

• Participate in flight tests and other activities as required for aircraft certification.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 2 years of experience in application installation, fabrication, or related fields (Aerospace experience preferred)

• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.

• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering documents.

• Skilled in using tools and equipment for interior installation.

• Able to lift 40 pounds, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work flexible shifts.

• Computer literate with strong communication skills.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
