Commercial Security Service Technician

Job Description

We’re hiring experienced Security Service Technicians to support commercial service and installation projects across the Atlanta area. This is a field-based role for dependable professionals with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience in access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems. What You’ll Do

• Perform routine and emergency service calls for commercial security systems
• Troubleshoot, replace, and repair malfunctioning or inoperative equipment
• Install and service access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems
• Conduct system testing and signal verification using multimeters, battery analyzers, and decibel meters
• Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality
• Maintain truck inventory of tools and equipment
• Document service activities and hours worked accurately and on time
• Collaborate with internal teams and escalate complex issues when needed
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience as a commercial install or service technician
• Mastery-level troubleshooting skills in intrusion detection, CCTV, and access control systems
• Experience using test equipment (multimeters, battery analyzers, decibel meters)
• Working knowledge of local and national codes
• High school diploma or vocational training
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer service mindset

Nice to Have

• Fire alarm experience
• Product certifications or licenses as required by local/national codes
• Experience with Tier 1 security platforms

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
