Experienced MIG Welder
Job Details:
- Welding: Operate a MIG welding machine to join metal components, applying filler metal and ensuring proper settings for the material type and thickness.
- Blueprint interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand project specifications, layout, and assembly requirements.
- Material preparation: Measure, cut, and prepare metal surfaces for welding by grinding or other methods.
- Quality control: Inspect completed welds to check for strength, quality, and adherence to technical specifications.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Safety: Follow all safety guidelines, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
