Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Work on Neuro/Stroke PCU floor with mixed medical, respiratory, and cardiac patients
• Patient ratio of 1:4 with continuous telemetry monitoring
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Work every other weekend unless otherwise specified
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period (work 1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment)
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Work with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Must be able to titrate cardiac drips and manage continuous telemetry monitoring
• Care for adolescent to geriatric patient population
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission

This healthcare facility operates a 36-bed Progressive Care Unit with an average daily census of 30 patients. The facility specializes in neuro/stroke care, respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring. The organization provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and transportation services. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern healthcare technology and equipment.
