ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, develop, maintain, and improve web-based applications for Passion, Inc.

• Use technical knowledge and creative thinking to provide innovative solutions using industry-standard tools, including Laravel, Vue.js, PHP, and C#

• Deploy and maintain web applications in cloud based technologies like AWS, Digital Ocean, and Google Cloud Platform

• Leverage modern API models like GraphQL to power Passion Inc’s digital experiences

• Optimize SQL and other databases for application performance and reporting

• Develop engaging front-end experiences using frameworks such as Nuxt and Tailwind CSS

• Leverage Integrations for Marketing insights, and other behavioral data for development

• Support and enhance observability, monitoring, and alerting capabilities to ensure the health of our applications and infrastructure

• Troubleshoot technical issues, provide ongoing support, and implement improvements as needed

AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 2-3 years of relevant
  experience.
• Strong proficiency in the Laravel framework.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in AWS, with a focus on services like EC2,
  S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Proficiency with GraphQL for building flexible, scalable, and integrable systems.
• Experience building front-end applications using Nuxt and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience integrating and managing Google Analytics for performance insights.
• Familiarity with observability concepts, monitoring, and alerting to ensure application health.
• Strong communicator with the ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical team members.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects and driving them forward with minimal supervision, while proactively identifying and solving problems.
• Experience building and sustaining multiple production-level applications.
• Willing to learn new applications, environments, and adopt our processes (e.g., scrum, pair programming).
• A 'do what it takes' mentality, assisting where needed.
