Line Cleaners (7a-5p Thurs - Wed)

Job Description:
Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Line Cleaners to maintain a clean and sanitary environment along our production and packaging lines. This role supports efficient manufacturing operations by keeping the equipment and work areas clean and compliant with company and safety standards. Primary Responsibilities: Perform scheduled cleaning of production lines, including conveyors, rollers, packing tables, and surrounding areas Remove product residue, dust, grease, and other contaminants from line equipment Sanitize surfaces to meet operational and safety standards Clear debris and trash from workstations and ensure proper waste disposal Ensure lines are cleaned during and after production shifts without disrupting operations Use cleaning tools and chemicals safely and as instructed Document cleaning tasks as required by quality or safety compliance systems Report any equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors immediately Requirements: Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing cleaning preferred Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and reach throughout the shift Comfortable working in a warm, high-noise environment Able to lift up to 50 lbs Knowledge of basic cleaning practices and safety procedures Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions precisely Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Work Conditions: Manufacturing/production environment with operational machinery Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all times May involve working around chemicals, dust, and continuous machine noise

All associates must adhere to a strict safety and dress code: No profane or suggestive texts/images are permitted. Steel-toed shoes are required, and either a ball cap or a hard hat must be worn. NO jewelry at all. Shirts and t-shirts must have sleeves without any rips or holes, and pants must also be intact. NO Hoodies or sweat pants. NO bling on clothing.
