Executive Producer

JOB OVERVIEW

Location: Atlanta, GA

Work Model: Two days in office required, travel required

As an Executive Producer, you will lead the development and execution of innovative experiential marketing campaigns and events for a leading premium automotive brand. In this role, you will manage the entire production process, serving as the central point of coordination between creative teams, clients, vendors, and internal departments. Your responsibilities include overseeing the mentorship of junior members, budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure the seamless realization of each project’s vision. With your strategic insight and creative leadership, you will drive the delivery of exceptional experiences while maintaining strong financial and operational oversight. Some projects will require you to manage a team of producers to run the project, and others will require you to be the true lead and play a larger day-to-day role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Mentorship
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional development.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the production team, including both soft and hard skills.
    • Share best practices and industry insights to elevate the team's overall performance.
    • Manage production team members on various projects across the portfolio, acting as their North Star in terms of process, ways of working, client management as well as best practices for working with creative team members.

       

  • Creative and Budget Management:
    • Lead the production of high-profile experiential marketing campaigns and events from concept to execution for an automotive brand. These are not plug and play projects and require innovation, creative problem solving, and out of the box thinking.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to translate client visions into actionable plans and creative executions.
    • Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining quality and creativity.
    • Oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest creative standards.
    • Troubleshoot and find creative solutions to any production challenges, always keeping the project moving forward smoothly.

       

  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for the production project for clients, maintaining strong relationships and managing expectations throughout the production process.
    • Work closely with clients to understand their goals, aligning project outcomes with their brand objectives.
    • Present and communicate creative and logistical plans, addressing feedback and incorporating changes as necessary.

       

  • Collaboration:
    • Manage and directly work with creative talent, and external vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with all departments to ensure smooth integration of all elements.
    • Inspire the team to push creative boundaries while delivering on key production objectives.

       

  • Vendor and Resource Management:
    • Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project quality, timely delivery, and budget adherence.
    • Manage the allocation of resources across multiple projects to ensure optimal use of time, talent, and equipment.

       

Post-Event Evaluation:

  • Oversee the post-event debrief process, gathering insights and feedback to improve future events and client relationships.
  • Ensure all post-event deliverables, such as reports and feedback loops, are completed on time and accurately.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Executive Producer in premium experiential marketing, live events, or production environment.
  • Extensive experience in team leadership, including managing diverse teams, mentoring employees, and comprehensive training to support growth and achieve organizational goals.
  • Strong background in managing large-scale projects, with experience in both creative and logistical aspects of production.
  • Exceptional budget management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with clients, creative teams, and vendors.
  • A keen eye for detail and creative excellence, ensuring the highest standards are met.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively find solutions.
  • Familiarity with experiential marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
