Are you a friendly and energetic barista who enjoys crafting specialty coffee beverages? Do you like creating memorable customer experiences? Interested in a job with a flexible schedule, FREE breakfast and lunch?

Join our team at Ten40 Café!!!

We're seeking a part-time barista at our local coffee shop in Georgetown (Savannah) GA. Must have morning availability and provide excellent customer service. Four days per week guaranteed. Must be consistently available for at least 20 hours per week including Saturdays and Sundays. Will have the opportunity to work more hours occasionally. Offering $11 per hour (after training and review) plus tips.

• Training on the preparation of sandwiches will be provided if you have no experience but would like to join our team.
• Training starts @ $10/hour plus tips and will be reviewed after 2 months.

Job Qualification

• Three months or more of barista experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Clover POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, dining areas, equipment, and restroom.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Stay knowledgeable about menu offerings and promote sales through effective communication.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Experience using Clover POS is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have morning availability.
