ETL/Big Data Developer
Job Description
- Architect and design application architecture; assist with defining and collecting requirements – non-functional and technical.
- Produce detailed and well-formed documents, drawings, and presentations including data models, and source to target mapping
- Research, identify, and recommend technology services and products as they pertain to enterprise, program, and project strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with various leaders and team members across IT organizations
- Lead, perform, and assist with technical collaboration activities with leadership and roles across IT teams (onshore/offshore) with external vendors
- Lead, collaborate with, and coordinate outsourced managed service providers
- Identify and resolve technical risks and issues as they arise
- Work with an array of internal resources – technical, Enterprise Architecture (EA), domain lead and vendors for to implement big data solutions.
Skills:
- Should be familiar with Data integrations, data modeling, data warehousing and big data technologies
- Experience with Python, Spark or Databricks, PL/SQL customer billing, and financial data knowledge would be beneficial
- Strong facilitation, communication and collaborative skills
- Should be able to work with uncertainty, unknown and lack of clarity
- Exposure to Agile methodologies – member of SCRUM team would be a plus
