Physical Therapist (Home Health) position in Newnan, Georgia. This role involves providing skilled physical therapy services in a home health setting, following physicians plan of care. The therapist will supervise and evaluate therapy assistants and home health aides, ensuring quality patient care while adhering to state-specific regulations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current and unencumbered license to practice physical therapy in Georgia; successful completion of a physical therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or equivalent; 0 or more years of experience; current CPR certification; proficient in general computer use including internet, email, and online training platforms.
• Preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years of physical therapy experience in a home health setting is preferred.
• Additional Information: The role requires reliable transportation, a current drivers license, and agency-required liability insurance. The therapist will be responsible for performing OASIS visits, scoring, and documenting in the HCHB/Homecare Homebase electronic medical records system. Weekly travel is estimated between 75-125 miles within the territory covering Troup County, including cities such as LaGrange, West Point, and Hogansville. The assignment involves a minimum of 40 hours per week, with availability for one weekend per month for weekend rotations and on-call duties.
