Overview
X-Ray Technologist position in a hospital setting in the Atlanta, GA area. Start date is 04/20/2026 for a 6-week travel assignment with guaranteed 24 hours per week and a weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday) from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Weekly pay ranges from $1,512 to $1,532. This assignment involves working across OR, ED, inpatient units, and portable imaging, with opportunities to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging as needed.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographs and fluoroscopic imaging across OR, ED, inpatient areas, and portable exams with attention to positioning and technique.
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment (GE, Philips, CareStream) and optimize imaging quality; review images for technical adequacy.
- Adhere to EMR workflows (EPIC and Sectra) and maintain accurate documentation of exams and patient data.
- Maintain patient and staff safety, including infection control and mask fit requirements; comply with safety protocols.
- Float to different approved departments as needed to meet patient care and imaging demand; assist with student competency checks where assigned.

Requirements
- ARRT certification (Radiography) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT-approved program.
- Must pass mask fit testing.
- Imaging experience in OR, ED, inpatient, and portable settings; comfortable working with a high-acuity environment.
- Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience or 2–3 years at a large trauma-level 2 facility.
- Willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging.
- EMR experience or training with EPIC and Sectra preferred.
- Ability to operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment and work in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Orientation attendance during week 1 is required.
