Banquet Concierge
- Welcome and assist guests upon arrival, offering clear information regarding event schedules, seating arrangements and venue layout.
- Ensure contracts, BEOs, and client files are accurate and complete.
- Ensure all Banquets signage is created and displayed according to offerings and BEO specifications.
- May coordinate outside vendor services needs where appropriate (ordering or renting supplies, contract labor providers).
- Assist with staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and timecards.
- Maintain event calendars, function books, and master schedules.
- Assist with inventory records for banquet supplies and equipment.
- Serve as a point of contact between the Director of Banquets and internal departments.
- Maintain a calm, organized presence during high-volume events and time-sensitive situations.
- Provide support to VIP guests and accommodate dietary, accessibility, and cultural requirements.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly to maintain exceptional service standards.
- Respond to guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Work closely with banquet staff, servers, captains, and event managers to ensure seamless event execution.
- Identify and assist in planning for the purchasing of supplies, equipment, facilities and services necessary to maintain an efficient office.
- May coordinate outside vendor services needs where appropriate (ordering or renting supplies, contract labor providers).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of administrative experience (hospitality or event environment strongly preferred)
- Experience supporting a Director of Banquets, Catering, or Sales team is a plus
