Finance (Corporate Debt) Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Finance (Corporate Debt) Associate Attorney to join a highly regarded Am Law 100 firm in Atlanta, Georgia .

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3–6 years of finance experience to join a nationally recognized corporate finance practice representing banks, financial institutions, private credit funds, and corporate borrowers in sophisticated financing transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent lenders and borrowers in a broad range of commercial finance transactions.

• Structure, negotiate, and document syndicated lending and secured lending transactions.

• Advise clients on cash flow credit facilities and other complex commercial lending matters.

• Assist with private debt transactions and financing arrangements involving private credit funds.

• Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while working closely with clients and cross-functional legal teams.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

• Active Bar membership in good standing.

• 3–6 years of experience in syndicated lending, secured transactions, and commercial finance.

• Experience with cash flow credit facilities is required.

• Experience representing clients in the private debt or private credit space is strongly preferred.

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and client management skills.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
