Head of Healthcare Vertical Market (Americas)

Position Overview

The Head of Healthcare Vertical Market is responsible for driving profitable growth and market leadership across the Healthcare segment for Siemens Smart Infrastructure (SI). This role defines and executes a customer-centric vertical strategy that integrates the full SI portfolio and advances the ONE Tech Company operating model , ensuring seamless collaboration across Business Units, regions, and functions.

Acting as the primary Healthcare market leader, this role connects customer needs, portfolio innovation, and go-to-market execution to accelerate digitalization, sustainability, and infrastructure transformation in healthcare environments.

Head of Healthcare Vertical Market (Americas)

This position will be remote in Atlanta & Chicago metro areas.

Role Description

You’ll make an impact by:

Strategy & ONE Tech Company Integration

  • Define and lead the Healthcare vertical strategy aligned to SI priorities and the ONE Tech Company framework
  • Drive cross-BU integration (EP, Buildings, EA) to deliver unified, outcome-based solutions
  • Translate market trends and customer insights into actionable portfolio and commercialization strategies
  • Shape the “Smart Hospital” value proposition , integrating digital, electrification, and sustainability capabilities

Business Leadership & Growth

  • Accountable for Healthcare vertical performance, including revenue growth, pipeline development, and market expansion
  • Lead commercialization of integrated solutions and services across SI offerings
  • Partner with Business Units and Sales to ensure execution of strategic growth initiatives
  • Provide input on pricing, channel strategies, and market positioning to maximize profitability
  • Identify growth opportunities within served market and white space expansion

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key healthcare systems, influencers, and partners
  • Act as the voice of the customer within SI to influence product, portfolio, and innovation priorities
  • Anticipate market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes impacting Healthcare

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing vertical market team (business development, portfolio, marketing, operations)
  • Orchestrate collaboration across sales, marketing, portfolio management, and regional teams
  • Establish a center of competence to support sales enablement and solution deployment

Portfolio & Innovation Alignment

  • Drive development and positioning of integrated solution sets across SI portfolio
  • Align with BU portfolio teams to prioritize innovations addressing healthcare-specific challenges
  • Ensure solutions deliver measurable customer outcomes (operational efficiency, patient experience, sustainability)

Leadership & Impact

  • Influence senior internal and external stakeholders on strategic initiatives and investments
  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs in a matrixed environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in Healthcare, infrastructure, or related industries
  • Proven track record of driving business growth in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time within the US market.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Individuals must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.
