Registered Nurse – PCU, travel assignment in Cumming, Georgia, United States. Start date: 05/11/2026. 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. 12-hour night shifts on a 2x3 schedule (7pm-7am; shift times may vary). Unit: 606F Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to PCU patients, including monitoring, assessment, and intervention within scope of practice.
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and respond promptly to clinical changes and alarms.
- Perform skilled nursing duties such as wound care, perform basic procedures, and assist with invasive/noninvasive monitoring as assigned.
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the electronic medical record; update care plans and communicate changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in rounds, and coordinate patient throughput, transfers, and discharges.
- Ensure safety and comfort, educate patients and families, and adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (or eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a PCU or related progressive care/critical care setting
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 2x3 schedule (7pm-7am, schedule may vary)
- Proven ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel and participate in a 13-week assignment
