Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date: 04/20/2026. This is a travel, temporary assignment for 8 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $1,592 to $1,621. Shift: 2x3 Nights. Work on a high-acuity surgical trauma floor on a hospital setting. No block schedules and no anticipated time off.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care on a high-acuity Med/Surg floor focused on spinal neuro trauma, surgical trauma, Gun Shot wounds, and quadriplegia/paraplegia patient populations.
- Administer medications, perform ongoing assessments, wound care, neuro checks, and respond to patient changes per physician orders; document in EPIC.
- Collaborate with Nursing Support Techs, nocturn unit secretary, phlebotomists, and ED nurses to ensure efficient handoffs and a 5:1 patient ratio; coordinate with admitting units as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and infection control, manage IVs and lines, monitor vital signs, and participate in discharge planning and education.
- Maintain accurate, timely charting in EPIC; comply with hospital policies and shift expectations; adapt to unit needs without block scheduling or RTO.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience on high-acuity or trauma-related units; neuro/trauma exposure preferred
- BLS certification required
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Able to work nights on a 2x3 schedule; willing to take assigned shifts; NO RTO per assignment rules
