**Job Summary:**
The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of Groove Burgers. This position involves overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and upholding our high standards for food quality and cleanliness. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of restaurant operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
* Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure excellent service and teamwork.
* Manage staff scheduling, breaks, and adherence to labor laws.
* Ensure consistent adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
* Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
* Assist with inventory management, stock control, and ordering supplies.
* Monitor operational costs and identify areas for improvement.
* Maintain a positive and energetic work environment.
* Support marketing and promotional initiatives as needed.

**Qualifications:**
* Previous experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role is preferred.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent customer service orientation.
* Ability to train and motivate team members.
* Proficiency in basic restaurant operations, including inventory and scheduling.
* Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* A passion for food and creating great customer experiences.
