We are seeking a litigation attorney with experience representing professional service organizations. This attorney will play a critical role in managing cases from inception through resolution, including trial or appeal. This includes drafting motions and taking depositions, while collaborating with partners and clients on case strategy and goals. Key to this position is the ability to possess strong research, writing, and oral communication skills, and contribute to trial preparation and discovery. The ideal candidate will have three to seven years of experience with a leading litigation firm.
This is a full-time position. Open to hybrid.
Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and performance-based bonuses.
Compensation:$140,000 - $190,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Handling all aspects of complex litigation matters
- Drafting and responding to correspondence, discovery, pleadings, and motions; taking and defending depositions; participating in hearings, arbitrations, and trials
- Performing legal research, drafting documents, keeping client files up to date, and moving forward
- Analyzing issues in legal matters, advising clients on solutions, and negotiating on behalf of clients
- Timely delivery of work product, assignments, motions, etc.

- Strong legal research skills in complex procedural and substantive matters.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work expeditiously and maintain a strong pace while delivering high-quality legal work.
- Ability to build relationships with existing clients, including involvement in networking and business development efforts.
- Strong ethical requirements and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications
- Active bar membership in Georgia is required.
- Florida, New York, or other state bar membership is a huge plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law
- Legal Malpractice experience is a plus
