Overview

Senior Associate Director, Programs - Residency Program Administrator | School of Medicine at Emory University. The Internal Medicine Residency Program is nationally recognized for its clinical training, academic rigor, and commitment to resident education and well-being. The program offers experiences across inpatient and outpatient settings at multiple clinical sites, with mentorship, scholarly activity, and professional development to prepare graduates for careers in general internal medicine, subspecialties, and academic medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the strategic planning, development, and implementation of the residency program.
  • Serve as a liaison and key spokesperson to various committees and organizations.
  • Respond to inquiries and assist in promoting the program.
  • Assist with policy formulation, strategy development, and the management of daily operations.
  • Collaborate with representatives from private, government, and international agencies as needed.
  • Conduct research, design new initiatives, and write publishable articles and papers.
  • Supervise staff and share supervisory duties for Chief Residents and program trainees as applicable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program and seven years of professional experience related to the program with prior supervisory and program/project management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • Master's degree preferred.
Additional Details

This role offers the opportunity to work from home regularly but requires ability to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based on business needs. Residency in the state of GA is required. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to the employee.
