Billing Specialist

I.K. Hofmann is looking for an immediate temp to hire contract opening for two Bi-lingual Billing Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia. We are looking to hire two bilingual employees fluent in both English and Spanish .We are looking for ambitious and detail-oriented individuals to perform fast-paced freight forwarding company.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, credit memos, and billing adjustments with a high level of accuracy.
• Review shipping documents, contracts, and customer records to verify billable charges.
• Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing discrepancies or missing documentation.
• Maintain organized digital and physical financial records in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure billing is completed within client-specified timelines to support cash-flow requirements.
• Generate daily/weekly billing reports and assist with audits as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience in billing, accounts receivable, or administrative finance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial and client information.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods to perform computer-based tasks.
• Must be able to move, traverse occasionally within the office to access files, printers, or office equipment.
• Must be able to communicate and exchange information with coworkers and clients in person, by phone, and electronically.

Work Environment

• Work is performed primarily in an indoor office setting.
• May occasionally work near others and share collaborative workspace.
• Exposed to office equipment such as computers, printers, and scanners on a daily basis.
• Work may involve extended periods of screen time and repetitive keyboarding.

Schedule

• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm or 9am - 5pm
• Occasional overtime may be required based on billing deadlines or month-end needs.

Starting Pay: 20.00–22.00 per hour
