Cook For Preschool
Summary Happy Haven Childcare in Lilburn is looking for an individual to join our team as a cook. Hours are 6:30am-1pm Monday-Friday. Food handling and preparation experience is a plus. Duties
- Create home-cooked, nutritional meal plans in the boundaries of the school's menu and budget, as well as state and federal requirements. Prepare meals/snacks for children and staff and distribute food to the classrooms.
- Follow the daily menu provided by the Director which incorporates USDA, CACFP, licensing, and/or health department regulations.
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order more when needed.
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be willing to meet all state preschool cook training requirements
- 1 year of experience in food planning, preparation and service following USDA guidelines
- Must be willing to submit to fingerprinting and criminal records check
