We are currently seeking a Automation Operations Lead to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).

The Automation Operations Lead is responsible for the administration, operational support, optimization, and continuous improvement of the client's enterprise monitoring and infrastructure automation environment. The role serves as the primary operational owner for the Nagios XI Enterprise Monitoring platform, which is a critical linchpin in the client's broader automation strategy across on-premises server infrastructure and secure public cloud tenants in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with deep experience supporting heterogeneous server environments, enterprise monitoring platforms, IT service management processes, infrastructure automation, and operational reporting. The role requires practical experience with Linux, Windows, and Unix platforms, as well as demonstrated ability to create, maintain, troubleshoot, and operationalize scripts and automation routines using technologies such as Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, REST APIs, SQL, JSON, YAML, and related tools.

Position Title

Automation Operations Lead

Enterprise monitoring administration, automation operations leadership, ITSM alerting coordination, and infrastructure visibility improvement.

Nagios XI Enterprise Monitoring, with related exposure to Nagios Core, Zenoss, and comparable enterprise monitoring platforms.

On-premises data center servers, virtualized infrastructure, Microsoft Azure tenants, Amazon AWS tenants, and secure cloud environments.

Hands-on technical lead with operational ownership and continuous improvement responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in cloud operations or DevOps leadership
• 7+ years of experience with AWS and Azure
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
• Experience in incident management, production operations, and service reliability
• Experience leading enterprise-scale cloud engineering teams
• Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash)

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS and/or Azure certifications
• Experience in multi-cloud environments
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $135,405 to $250,750 . Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. The candidate may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on personal and/or company performance.
