Then consider joining us as a Contract Logistics 3rd Shift Quality Inspector at our aerospace site in Union City, Georgia. You will work Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 pm - 5:30 am and will be paid weekly at $28.71 per hour plus shift differential. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector determines methods, operations, sequences, and setups to perform inspections. You will be in a large aerospace site. Previous quality experience in an aerospace or automotive environment will help you be successful in this position.

Duties and Responsibilites

• You will review documents when applicable to determine acceptance or non-acceptance
• Produce inspection reports and corrective action requests
• Report quality findings or problems to Quality Manager and follow up to ensure corrective actions are complete
• Maintain record of inspections and prepare list of defects
• Work with all departments to ensure compliance with specification
• Participate in team development including quality and continuous improvement program

What we would like you to bring

Knowledge and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of related experience
• Interpret blueprints and understand Geometric Dimension and Tolerance
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Standards
• Understand basic concepts of Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent
