Go Software Engineer
- Will assist in development and support of integrations between national third-party delivery partners and one of the premier Quick Service Restaurants in the country
- Work as part of a highly skilled agile pod using leading edge technologies such as Golang, AWS (S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda), and Datadog
- Own technical design collaborating closely with client lead engineer
- Own development team delivery, quality, and user story execution
- Boost team velocity by developing and implementing quality code in line with acceptance criteria and definition of done
- Estimate and break down user stories or tasks
- Coach and guide junior software engineers
- Assist production support team and trouble shoot more complex issues
- Actively participate in sprint ceremonies
- Part of On-Call rotation to address issues that arise
- 5+ years of overall software engineering experience
- 2+ years of Go (Golang) experience
- 2+ years' experience in backend development
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills, while working independently
- Strong, collaborative team player
- Experience supporting software applications
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Self-starter with an eagerness to learn new things
- Experience with AWS & DataDog preferred
- Programming knowledge in python is a plus
- Experience with JIRA is a plus
- Experience with the QSR industry is a plus
