**What You'll Do:**
+ Monitor and control access to buildings and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities within a tech, media, or telecom environment.
+ Follow site-specific policies and procedures to maintain security-related protocols and uphold client standards at the location.
+ Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related questions and needs.
+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential disturbances and/or security-related breaches.
+ Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft attempts, or unusual occurrences, according to Allied Universal guidelines.
+ Assist with emergency response activities as needed, supporting evacuation procedures and/or coordinating with first responders on site.
+ Maintain clear communication with the Allied Universal team and site management regarding security-related matters and incidents.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
