Position reports to the Engineering Services Manager. Candidate must be available to work a straight shift, Mon-Fri, 9 hours per day, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

· Serve as a Resource to improve technical knowledge at Pine Mountain.

· Engage, advise, coach, and develop the Pine Mountain Engineering Services associates daily in a positive manner.

· Supervise assigned Engineering Services associates. This will include the following items, but may not be all inclusive:

o Scheduling

o Time reporting

o Work assignment

o Evaluations and documentation.

· Lead team in daily management activities, solve problems and drive process stability and capability.

o The activities will be inclusive of the four M’s (man, machine, materials, method).

o Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for breakdowns or other reoccurring problems.

o Critical thinking skills that support systems and processes to limit downtime and off quality events.

o Review any significant Pine Mountain downtime losses and take appropriate actions to respond.

· Support the improvement of the existence and accuracy of machine drawings & documentation.

o Ensure the documents, procedures, and files that are required as part of the maintenance program, ISO, and TS are in place, accurate, and effective.

o Complete other documentation and files as required.

· Maintain and maximize the effectiveness of SAP based maintenance management software program.

o Initiate work orders and monitor completion progress.

o As needed, train Pine Mountain associates in the proper procedures for entry and completion of work orders.

· Working knowledge of PLC programming, drive and controls troubleshooting, programming and maintenance.

o Ability to read electrical diagrams.

· Determine and maintain critical spare parts inventories for production assets.

o Maintain equipment/spare part availability and recommend/justify machinery upgrades to support business needs.

o Develop working relationships with equipment manufacturers.

· Ability to work with associates on all levels of the organization.

o Provide engineering or otherwise needed support to engineering and manufacturing associates and other members of management.

o Assist with troubleshooting of PC systems and components as needed.

· Support IT and IS.

o Inventory all IT equipment.

o Assist in IT/IS network upgrades.
