Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date July 6, 2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,580–$1,655 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3 nights per week. Setting: hospital-based ED with high-volume, level 1 trauma center experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a busy ED for adult and pediatric patients, including triage and rapid assessment.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects; document clinical findings accurately.
- Respond to emergencies, participate in trauma activations, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the ED team.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, maintain infection control practices, and prepare patients for disposition, transfer, or admission.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record; uphold BLS, ACLS, and PALS protocols; TNCC/ENPC preferred.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families; uphold professional standards and credentialing readiness.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia or eligibility for Georgia licensure
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity ED setting
- Credentialing in process allowed; conditional compliance may be accepted
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary ED team
