We are seeking an experienced overnight shift lead to join our fabrication team! You will operate machinery and equipment, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Hours will be 11PM to 7:30AM. Must have experience in a managerial role and flexible schedules to work additional hours if needed.

Responsibilities:

• Works in a laboratory setting, fabricating orthotic devices
• Configures and constructs devices to specifications established by a physician or other health care provider
• Utilizes tools and precision instruments to result in customized fit, optimal function, and maximum comfort for the patient
• Disassembles, repairs and reassembles defective or worn devices or appliances
• Works in collaboration with the Orthotist
• Interprets technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, or other verbal or written instructions
• Ensures quality standards are met
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company standards
• Uses hand tools, power tools, custom fixtures, drill presses, arbor presses, ovens, heat guns and other light duty equipment
• May perform sewing and/or plastic thermoforming
• Operate, maintain and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical failures
• Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields
• Previous experience in a lead or managerial role.
• Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings
• Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
