**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately during emergency situations.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues as they arise.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
+ Maintain awareness of the environment and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
+ Follow all protocols for carrying and handling firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.
+ Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Possess an armed guard card or license.
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
