Position Overview

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll play a vital role maintaining and installing equipment used in the production of high-strength structural components utilized in aerospace applications worldwide. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to a mission that literally helps the world take flight.

  • Competitive Pay:
    • $34.20/hour starting for 1st shift training for 90 days from 7:00AM-3:00PM
    • $2/hour shift differential for weekday nights
    • $2.50/hour differential for weekend nights
    • Train Monday – Friday; 7:00AM-3:00PM
    • Overtime as deemed necessary
    • Flexible Schedule Needed
      • Weekday nights, 7PM-7AM (3 days one week and 4 days the next)
      • Weekend nights, 7PM-7AM (3 days one week and 4 days the next)

Responsibilities

  • Trouble-shoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Perform fabrication, welding, torch cutting, light carpentry duties, etc.
  • Perform PMs per schedule
  • Promote and practice workplace safety
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to operate various machines
  • Physically able to stand, bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Safety Commitment

All UAC employees must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety trainings, proactively promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries. Employees must understand the PPE and wear it properly.
