Reporting to the Executive Director of HIM and Compliance, the Medical Staff Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of medical staff services, credentialing activities, and provider enrollment processes. The Medical Staff Manager will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, executive leadership, department directors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and requirements. This role serves as an important resource for medical staff leadership and organizational committees.

The Medical Staff Manager will oversee a dynamic scope of responsibilities that support both hospital-based providers and affiliated practices. Working within a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, the Medical Staff Manager will manage credentialing, recredentialing, peer review tracking, committee coordination, and provider enrollment activities. The Medical Staff Manager will lead all aspects of credentialing and medical staff compliance, ensuring adherence to Joint Commission standards, medical staff bylaws, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing provider enrollment, managing FPPE and OPPE processes, facilitating credentialing committee meetings, and maintaining accurate provider records. The Medical Staff Manager will also support special projects, oversee licensing and accreditation-related activities, and contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and provider satisfaction.
