Step into an exciting contract opportunity serving elementary students near Ellijay, GA as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This position, spanning from August 3, 2026, to May 26, 2027, offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in young learners’ communication skills and overall educational experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP license and current teaching certificate required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs in an elementary school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and maintain up-to-date documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and enriching educational atmosphere
