Production Manager needed in the Great State of Georgia
Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 (Based on experience) Monday – Friday, 1 st Shift (Flexible)
40hrs/wk. (ability to work overtime, when needed)

The Production Manager oversees daily operations within the manufacturing and materials processing area, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment. This individual will lead, coach, and develop team members while maintaining operational excellence, safety standards, and customer satisfaction. Day to Day:
- Lead and manage a team responsible for material processing, loading/unloading, and job staging operations.
- Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet targets.
- Monitor workflow and productivity, ensuring consistent output and adherence to company standards.
- Promote and enforce safety policies, ensuring compliance with all safety training and procedures.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Logistics, Purchasing, etc.) to optimize workflow and customer outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Coach, train, and motivate employees.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture — and have fun doing it!
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing, lumber, or building materials environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
- Working knowledge of production operations, safety standards, and quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements and complete basic math problems.
- Physical ability to occasionally assist on the floor as needed (handling up to 55 pounds).
- Forklift certification or willingness to complete company certification program.
- Highly organized, responsible, and motivated with a hands-on management style.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive attitude and promoting teamwork.
