Responsibilities
- Assist in the operating room as a CST, preparing sterile instruments and supplies for procedures
- Maintain sterile technique, assist with draping and positioning, and track counts of sponges, needles, and sharps
- Provide setup and turnover support for OR cases, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready and functional
- Anticipate the surgeon’s needs, pass instruments and supplies, and maintain clear communication with the surgical team
- Document basic perioperative activities as required and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Participate in call coverage and weekend/holiday coverage as assigned by the schedule

Requirements
- Certification: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) required
- Experience: Travel experience in surgical technology required
- Specialty experience: Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Additional: Burn experience preferred
- Schedule and environment: Able to work 12-hour day shifts with call; weekend and holiday coverage; able to work in a high-demand OR setting
