Controls Engineer
Controls/Automation Engineer for a leading engineering consulting firm based near Roswell, GA. This role is responsible to work on multiple projects, handling complex automation assignments that require innovative problem-solving. APPLY NOW! Required Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering is ideal)
- Must have at least eight (8) years experience in automation & controls design
- Experience with PLC and HMI programming
- Ability to read and interpret civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings to support automation system design
- Allen Bradley, GE, RSLogix5000 experience

salary: $100,000 - 120,000 per year
work hours: 8am to 4pm
education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Perform engineering design activities, PLC programming and commissioning for projects
- Perform automation & controls design evaluations
- Complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
- Provide technical design, programming and troubleshooting support.
- Use computer assisted design/drafting software to develop control enclosure designs.
- Perform PLC, HMI, and simulator programming that will meet all project acceptance criteria.
- Apply expertise in hazardous area classification and design of control panels in both classified and unclassified areas
- Experience level: Experienced
