Afterschool Teacher
Summary We are a dynamic and engaging afterschool program looking for a passionate and responsible individual to join our team. Our goal is to provide children with a fun, safe, and educational environment where they can grow, learn, and engage in enriching activities after school hours. As an Afterschool Teacher, you will supervise and engage a group
of children in various activities, including arts and crafts, educational
games, group discussions, and outdoor play. You will encourage positive behavior, and ensure the safety and well-being of all
students. Duties
- Supervise and engage children (ages 6-12 ) in afterschool activities
- Plan and implement educational and recreational activities
- Ensure the safety of children at all times
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment
- Communicate with parents and staff regarding student progress and behavior
- Maintain a clean and organized activity area
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds
- Positive, patient, and energetic attitude
- Must be available to work afterschool hours
- Satisfactory Background Check
