Job Summary:
As the VP of Insurance, you are responsible for driving growth within OnPay’s insurance channel by offering health insurance and other employee benefits to our payroll clients. You will identify and develop a sales strategy to onboard new clients and provide first-class service to existing clients. The right candidate will have the ability to drive strategy, build a team and culture, and ensure successful execution. We fully understand that it is our client's success that makes us great. Role Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end insurance client acquisition and service process - including lead generation, qualification, product demonstration, conversion, service, renewal and retention
Grow and manage teams of licensed brokers and client service members
Directly help with larger opportunities or where a team member needs assistance
Develop and implement improved procedures and standards for the department, to ensure that output is high quality, accurate, on time, and within budget, including enhancing metrics (key performance indicators) for the Insurance team
Define the messaging and approach to share the value proposition with payroll clients and prospects
Stay current with the latest trends, technology, and developments in the health insurance & payroll industries
Work closely with other teams (Sales, Marketing, Onboarding, and Success) to ensure a unified strategy and client journey

Education and Experience:
10+ years of sales and/or client-facing experience; preferably within the payroll, insurance and/or software Industries
5+ years of management and team leadership experience
Payroll knowledge preferred
Life & Health Insurance and other needed licensing (strongly preferred, required to obtain)
College experience (degree strongly preferred, MBA a plus)
