Job Summary

The Site Coordinator will coordinate and facilitate instruction, activities, and events associated with the grant, including, but not limited to: the implementation and delivery of all services and activities; the provision of appropriate community resources and individualized support to identified students and families; the screening, scheduling, and/or training of tutors, project partners, and volunteers; regular communication and interaction with students, family members, school administrators, and grant related employees and volunteers. In addition, data entry will be completed on case-managed students and programs to determine what works and what needs improvement.

Responsibilities

Coordinating - 40

Coordinates the schedules of tutors, volunteers, and other staff to provide the implementation and delivery of all services and activities. Coordinates the services and activities for students and family members. Coordinates the integration of the support staff and activities, programs, and events.

Operations - 40

Engages a school support team that works closely with school administrators, staff, teachers and partners in the implementation of services. Builds and nurtures relationships with staff, school administrators and teachers, community partners, and volunteers. Leads the school support team in scheduling, monitoring, and adjusting services as needed to maximize the effectiveness and impact of the services provided. Evaluates the effectiveness of provided services at the school.o Assists the Program Coordinator with the annual needs assessment process. Leads the development and implementation of the school support plan.

Communication - 10

Communicates verbally and in writing with students, parents, teachers, school administrators, volunteers, and others as related to schedules, activities, events, goals, needs assessments, partnerships, and other services as related to the grant. Meets regularly with school administrators and teachers. Provides training to staff and volunteers. Makes presentations as needed to community members, school administrators, board members, or others. Writes reports and presents findings as associated with goals, achievements, needs assessments, plans, and monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

Collaboration - 5

Builds, develops, and maintains relationships with community partners and external and internal constituents for smooth and successful program operations. Works closely with School Administrators, Staff, and Partners to ensure the success of the program.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or demonstrated relevant equivalent experience in education, social work or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in working with school-aged children.
